OMICRON has introduced the CPX 200, a next-generation multifunctional primary test set for commissioning, maintenance, and condition assessment of medium- and high-voltage equipment. The compact, modular platform delivers up to 10 kV AC/DC (with HVX10) and 1,000A AC/DC (with the High Current Module) in a lightweight system of less than 30 kg, making it well suited for demanding field applications.

CPX 200 simplifies testing through true three-phase operation, integrated measuring channels, and an intuitive touchscreen interface. A single platform supports transformer, instrument transformer, and circuit breaker testing, with guided workflows and automatic report generation to reduce wiring effort, shorten commissioning time, and improve measurement consistency.

Safety is central to the CPX 200 design, featuring a multi-level protection concept in accordance with EN 50191, including INTERLOCK control, red/green status indicators, grounding, and emergency shutdown. Optional modules such as HVX10 and the High Current Module extend capabilities for insulation diagnostics, dissipation factor, primary injection, and micro-ohm measurements.

The system is complemented by OMICRON’s digital ecosystem, combining CPX pert software and CORTEX Grid for guided testing, automated evaluation, professional reporting, and centralized asset data management. With integrated Touch Control, engineers can also operate directly on the device in the field.
